Insightful article! I wonder if SEO will ever become obsolete as AI gets smarter when it comes to analyzing content and ranking accordingly... In the end, for me, it's about creating content that is useful and honest—I have to think that Google will sort out all the details in order to provide the best search results, no? am I too naive?
Thanks for you comment Mariano. Google's narrative is as long as you create helpful, quality content, you will do well. The reality is that they have trillions of URL to sort and index, which can't be easy. If you're not applying some level of SEO - keyword research, website architecture, link building - then you'll be behind those that are in my opinion.
Maybe in time AI will help them sort and rank things better, but you're also fighting against the AI content writers who are creating more content than ever - Google will always be catching up I think.
